USA Today is reporting that Best Buy will be joining the AT&T stores by selling the iPhone in their 970 stores. Being the nation’s largest electronic retailer will help with the demand.
“Analyst Wolf says he believes that Apple is catching up with demand. “Supply is coming on board.”
Best Buy says it has a national exclusive on the iPhone (outside of Apple and AT&T stores) through Christmas. The retailer has Apple Macintosh sections at 600 of its stores.”
It will be interesting to see how Best Buy handles this. Apple “usually” doesn’t appreciate the way retailers sell their products since the employees, in my experience, are not trained or don’t care about the products they sell.
