Release of AIM for Mac! huh?

What are those crazy guys over at AOL up to?

Today they are announcing the Beta 1 release of AIM for Mac.

Here’s what they are saying about it:

“AIM for Mac continues our commitment to the growing Mac market by delivering a new AIM experience that’s built from the ground up for the Mac platform. AIM for Mac is one of the most requested applications from our users, and the “buzz” has been increasing with the successful launch of AIM for iPhone.”

I have to say I do use the AOL IM on my iPhone due to all the EXTRA text charges At&t are trying to squeeze out of me.

Finally, Flash for iPhone!?!

According to boygeniusreport.com:

“Adobe has officially confirmed that Flash is pretty much ready to go. This can open up the floodgates to new applications and developers who were hoping to write some Flash-based apps.”

“Upon a direct question from the audience, Paul Betlem for the first time publicly confirmed that Adobe is actively developing a Flash Player for Apple’s popular phone. He said (not direct quote) ‘My team is working on Flash on the iPhone, but it’s a closed platform.’ He noted that Apple makes all the decisions, so in other words, the ball is in Apple’s yard at this time. If Apple says yes, Adobe will have the player available in a very short time.”

Could it be true? Finally?

We have been down this road before but after a full year without Flash, it is time – come on Apple!

CTRL-ALT-DELETE Cups – cool GEEK stuff

Over on Geeky-Gadgets there are some cool “geek” cups that are shaped like computer keyboard keys – CNTRL-ALT-DELETE.

“These geek cups were designed, by Mod Design, who showed them off at the Masion-Objet Design Show in Paris recently.

There is no word on when these cool cups will go on sale of how much they will retail for, lets hope they release some details soon as I would definitely buy a set.”
