iPhone 3G Power Options – iPod power Station review too.

iPhone power.jpgWhat is better than going to the mail box and getting a new gadget? It’s like Christmas and your Birthday all at once! Well today I received my first iPhone 3G gadget – The iPhone Power Station. Purchased from mobile.brando.com.hk for the low, low price of $25 add $3 more for shipping and Bob’s your Uncle (English phrase, not sure what it means)

So fresh out of the pack it comes charged and ready to rock, so I plugged it in and it did what it said, started charging my iPhone 3G. (see Spielbergesque type video)

It comes in black or white, though the website is stating: *BLACK is out of stock and shipment will be sent in Mid of August!*
It also reads:
External emergency backup power battery for your iPhone 2G/3G and iPod

The first round – I plugged in my iPhone and it did start charging and charging and charging…it didn’t seem to stop even though the iPhone looked fully charged and the display of the charging icon was sans(french for not there) the lightning bolt.

Currently I am testing it out on my 60GB video iPod and it is charging it up as well.

A more detailed review will be coming soon as I test and play around with this “External emergency backup power battery”.

ALSO – Morphine just announced the Juice Pack for the iPhone 3G can be pre-ordered for $99.95

Standby Time – Up to 350 hours

Talk Time – Up to 6 hours on 3G | Up to 12 hours on 2G

Internet Use – Up to 6 hours on 3G | Up to 7 hours on Wi-Fi

Audio Playback – Up to 28 hours

Video Playback – Up to 8 hours

All juiced up and ready to go… straight out of the box!

Apple iMac (24-inch, 2.8GHz) – CNET Review

Apple iMac (24-inch, 2.8GHz) Desktop reviews – CNET Reviews
7A7309E4-5389-435B-BA7C-40F06A474958.jpgThe good: A minor specification update results in some significant performance gains; graphics upgrade an option on this 24-inch model; sleek, polished design didn’t receive an update, but we won’t start clamoring for a new design until the current one is at least 12 months old.

The bad: Free phone support runs out after 90 days.

The bottom line: A slight bump to the specifications for the same price in addition to a much appreciated option to upgrade the graphics means the 24-inch iMac keeps the Editors’ Choice it earned last year when the brushed-aluminum-and-glass design was first introduced.

Specs: Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo (2.8 GHz); RAM installed: 2 GB DDR II SDRAM; Hard drive: 320 GB Standard  See full specs >>

Price range: $1,721.15 – $1,798.99

Review of Mophie Juice Pack for iPhone

Review: Mophie Juice Pack for iPhone

The Juice Pack addresses one of the major complaints of the iPhone, namely the lack of a user-swappable battery. While the Juice Pack does add a bit of size and bulk to the iPhone, it is nothing unwieldy, and its ability to more than double your iPhone’s battery life while still maintaining a sleek, compact design makes it a must-have accessory for any serious traveler or iPhone “road warrior”.”

Review of the MacAlly TunePro

Review: MacAlly TunePro: “For its price, the TunePro offers pretty good sound quality and solid radio reception. But there are some tradeoffs, including the amount of room the unit takes up on your nightstand, as well as the unintuitive controls.
