Griffin iTrip Auto – FM Transmitter and Car Charger for iPod (Review)
I just got my iTrip last night, I was very excited to get it hooked up and running. The install was quick and painless using the smartscan.
Mainly I wanted to take advantage of the 3G internet streaming services like Pandora, AOL, FlyCast, etc.
And they all work like a charm. Now with XM getting blanketed with commercials, it’s nice to have a FREE alternative, minus the $70 bucks for the iTrip…

Desktop wallpapers can serve as an excellent source of inspiration. However, if you use some specific wallpaper for a long period of time, it becomes harder to draw inspiration out of it. That’s why we have decided to supply you with smashing wallpapers over 12 months.
And to make them a little bit more distinctive from the usual crowd, we’ve decided to embed calendars for the upcoming month. So if you need to look up some date, isn’t it better to show off a nice wallpaper with a nice calendar instead of launching some default time application?

I just downloaded it and it is very cool!
I like good screen savers. They really give you computer that edge when you run them, especially against some of the rubbish Windows screen savers you can find. This post will be about one cool screen saver that I found this morning which I want to share with you. If you didn’t guess by the title it is called World Clock and can be found here.
The basic idea behind the screen saver is the coloured text (which you can change) changes depending on the time. As time passes the different words are reflected to the current time. In the screen shot above it is Sunday the 25th of May, 5:02pm and 26 seconds. One second later the colour of the text will change so it shows 27 seconds.
Its a very simple screen saver and is not designed to really flashy, or CPU intensive. If you have a CRT monitor or a Plasma TV you may not want to use this screen saver as it will probably burn in, thats never good. Its really customizable through the options so you suit it to your own personal style.

Wire Button keeps pesky tangle of cables out of your way
Those iPod wires never seem to be the right length, getting in the way and cramping your style. Until we can do away with wires altogether, this Wire Button is a design concept that would be a welcome mediator to that spaghetti-bowl of cables cluttering up your torso.
Designer Jaehyung Hong put together this subtle, inconspicuous attachment that buttons down that wire, keeping it out of your way. If you wear shirts with buttons, this could be one of those little things that could ever-so-slightly improve your quality of life.
